Job summary

Takeda is seeking a Medical Science Liaison to join the US Medical unit. This field-based role covers the Northwest Region (ND, SD, MT, WY, ID, OR, WA, AK) and focuses on analyzing, interpreting and disseminating scientific data, acquiring insights, and connecting customers to Takeda to advance medical strategy and patient outcomes.

The MSL will build relationships with KOLs/HCPs, support Takeda-sponsored research, travel up to 70%, and operate in a compliant, cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• Doctoral or master's degree in health sciences required.
• 2+ years of MSL experience in healthcare or related field.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in virtual and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Externally-focused KOL/HCP activities comprise at least 80% of responsibilities.
• Build and maintain relationships with KOLs/HCPs per territory plans aligned to medical strategy.
• Disseminate complex scientific data to healthcare audiences in a compliant, fair-balanced manner.
• Support Takeda-sponsored research and assist with investigator-initiated studies.
• Capture and communicate medical insights from KOLs/HCPs to inform medical strategies.
• Identify and cultivate partnerships between KOLs/HCPs and Takeda US Medical.
• Travel up to 70% and drive to meetings; work in a cross-functional team.
