Job summary

Takeda seeks a field-based Medical Science Liaison to join the US Medical team. You will analyze, interpret, and disseminate scientific data to KOLs and HCPs, build external networks, and align activities with medical strategy. The role involves travel and cross-functional collaboration to advance patient outcomes.

You will support sponsored research, gather insights, and participate in medical conferences, while ensuring compliance and timely documentation across CRM and administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in life/health sciences preferred; Master’s degree minimum.
• About 2+ years of MSL experience in healthcare or related fields.
• Ability to disseminate complex scientific data to healthcare audiences.
• Clinical, research, and/or teaching experience.
• Ability to work effectively in virtual and cross-functional teams.
• Execution of activities within legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret complex scientific information and disseminate to KOLs/HCPs in a compliant, fair-balanced manner.
• Support Takeda-sponsored research and assist with medical collaborative studies and investigator-initiated research.
• Collect, interpret, and internally communicate medical insights from KOLs/HCPs to refine medical strategies.
• Identify and cultivate partnerships between KOLs/HCPs and Takeda US Medical.
• Execute medical strategy at conferences, sharing insights from posters and sessions.
• Respond to unsolicited HCP medical information inquiries within defined timelines.
• Complete CRM entries, insights capture, training, expense reporting, and other admin tasks timely.
