Job summary

AAON, Inc. is seeking a technical controls support professional to provide phone assistance to onsite field technicians and end users. You will handle technical support calls, assist in testing AAON digital controls, and perform startup and troubleshooting with field personnel.

This role requires problem-solving, multitasking, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. Travel is expected as needed, with after-hours support as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical trade training preferred.
• Electrical Controls and Instrumentation Automation and HVAC or Electrical training are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answers and solves technical support calls on AAON controls.
• Assists in testing and troubleshooting AAON digital controls.
• Performs job site startup and troubleshooting with field personnel.
• Evaluates the need for escalation to Mechanical Support / Engineering and Controls Engineering.
• Performs administrative duties associated with controls support position.
• Use Test Bench to assist field technicians with hardware I/O, SOO, and Applications.
• Must be available for afterhours field support during the work week, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• This is subject to change according to business needs.
