Job summary

Cardinal Health seeks a Consultant (Contract Administrator) to support OptiFreight contracts in a US nationwide field. You will draft, review, and manage contract terms, partnering with Legal, Sales, Finance, and cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and timely execution.

Responsibilities include redline management, input collection, and template development while contributing to dashboards and training initiatives. Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred. Advanced Degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of related experience in contracts/Legal roles.
• Strong negotiation, drafting, communication, attention to detail and time management.
• Excellent written, oral and presentation skills; independent and accountable.
• Ability to manage high volumes and meet deadlines; data synthesis skills.
• Proficient in MS Office; ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
• Experience with contracting processes and CLM systems; healthcare/pharma exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer contract terms and activations.
• Draft contracts in Apttus using OptiFreight templates.
• Review contracts for standard terms and compliance.
• Collect inputs from cross-functional teams (Sales, Product Marketing, Finance).
• Review redlines and align with OptiFreight language and playbooks.
• Coordinate stakeholder reviews and approvals; escalate issues as needed.
• Initiate implementation for fully executed contracts; support price loading.
• Assist sales with custom contract language; support dashboards and reporting.
• Develop and maintain contract templates, libraries, and SOPs.
• Train internal stakeholders on processes and systems; create job aids.
