Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of construction experience, including leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations (29 CFR 1926) and safety best practices.
• Ability to read blueprints and communicate effectively with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce site-specific safety plans and procedures.
• Conduct inspections and risk assessments for heavy equipment, lifting, and general construction.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain required safety records.
• Provide safety training and orientation for workers and subcontractors (LOTO, confined space, fall protection).
• Manage equipment safety through inspections and proper operation by trained personnel.
• Oversee personnel safety and proper use of PPE across the site.
• Document, investigate, and report incidents and near-misses to determine root causes.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and safety inspectors to promote safety culture.
• Develop and drill emergency response plans for potential incidents.
