Job summary

Boulder Care is seeking a Community Engagement Liaison to drive partnerships across the Olympia, Tacoma, Edmonds, Port Angeles, Bellingham, and Vancouver areas. This field-based role involves four days per week in the community and remaining time in a home-based remote office for admin work.

Candidates must reside in the listed areas and be able to travel locally. The company offers a robust benefits package and a mission-driven culture focused on harm-reduction care.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in community outreach, business development or sales, or referral management within healthcare, hospital systems, or behavioral health settings.
• Proven track record of building and growing referral relationships and driving patient or partner growth through sustained engagement.
• Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM tools and Google Workspace.
• Ability to travel locally with reliable transportation and valid driver's license ~4 days/week for meetings with partners.
• Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and work autonomously while managing multiple priorities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including strong public speaking abilities, demonstrating empathy and a patient-first/client-first mindset.
• Passionate about serving marginalized and vulnerable populations.
• Proven ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality when working with sensitive and confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Partnership Growth: Identify and build relationships with new referral partners to grow referrals and enrollment goals.
• Strategic Relationship Management: Nurture existing partnerships and align with Boulder’s mission.
• Data & CRM Management: Use CRM tools and enrollment data to track follow-ups and ROI.
• Community Engagement: Spend most time in the field building relationships with providers and advocates.
• Feedback Integration: Collect feedback to refine referral strategies and address barriers.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work with Marketing, Commercial, Clinical, Product, and Operations on outreach plans.
