Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Clinical Specialist to support VIS products, train physicians and hospital staff, and provide on-site clinical coverage. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
• Clinical Background - IR/CT Technician, OR Nurse or Surgical Technician preferred.
• Experience/Knowledge of IR suite, OR Protocol and Sterile Technique.
• Experience in supporting vascular procedures highly regarded.
• Experience in supporting tissue ablation procedures highly regarded.
• Ability to work in a high-intensity, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Analytical with an ability/desire to solve problems.
• Team player.
• Ability to lift approx. 150 pounds

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person case coverage.
• Ensure product and ancillary components are available for each case.
• Complete and process all procedure related paperwork.
• Track and report all customer complaints.
• Ensure physicians and staff have current information.
• Manage disposable inventory for each case load.
• Present products (Microwave and Cryoablation generators) to cases as required.
• Train and educate physicians and hospital staff on VIS products.
• Provide on-site clinical support during procedures with minimal direct patient contact.
• Collaborate with teams to determine training needs and develop content from manuals and DFUs.
• Coordinate or lead customer and/or employee training classes.
• Conduct large group presentations at seminars and trade shows.
• Provide demo support at local/regional/national events.
• Provide first line product technical support.
• Perform new installation support.
• Provide first line technical service with oversight when necessary.
• Collaborate with VIS Medical Affairs Team.
• Assist Medical Education and Medical Information as needed.
• Document day-to-day interactions with physician customers.
• Provide competitive product information to HQ marketing or engineering teams.]
