Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Clinical Training Specialist in Chicago, IL to provide on-site and remote clinical training and support for VIS products. You will train physicians, nurses, and hospital staff, ensuring safe and effective product use across cases, with travel up to 60% to regional sites.

The role requires a clinical background (IR/CT tech, OR nurse, or surgical tech) and experience with IR suite protocols and sterile technique.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred.
• Clinical background – IR/CT Technician, Operating Room Nurse or Surgical Technician preferred.
• Experience/knowledge of IR suite, Operating Room Protocol and Sterile Technique.
• Experience in supporting vascular procedures highly regarded.
• Experience in supporting tissue ablation procedures highly regarded.
• Ability to lift approx. 150 pounds.
• Willingness to travel up to 60%.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person case coverage; ensure products/components available for each case.
• Trains and educates physicians and hospital staff on VIS products.
• Provides on-site clinical support during procedures with hands-off patient contact.
• Collaborates with VIS Medical Affairs Team; documents interactions and reports.
• May coordinate or lead customer/employee training classes.
• May conduct large group presentations at seminars, training programs and trade shows.
• May provide demo support at local, regional and national events.
