Job summary

New Mexico CYFD seeks candidates to support investigation, permanency and placement units. You will gather collateral information, contact supports, and document in FACTS/IMPACT for workers while in the field.

The ideal candidate has experience with children and families, coordinates services, and maintains accurate case records. Requires a valid driver's license and ability to travel in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a social/community coordinator or social worker assistant.
• Any combination of education or experience may substitute for the required experience.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Support investigation, permanency and placement units.
• Gather collateral information for investigations.
• Document in FACTS/IMPACT for caseworkers.
• Set up referrals and services for children and parents.
• Schedule appointments for caseworkers to visit families.
• Complete payments in FACTS/IMPACT for resource parents and providers.
• Supervise community visits and track staffing.
• Identify relatives and coordinate interviews.
