Job summary

Woodcase Fine Cabinetry, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Cabinetry Sales & Design Consultant to develop relationships with builders, designers, homeowners, and remodelers while guiding projects from concept through delivery.

You will design kitchens, read blueprints, estimate bids, and present options in the showroom and on site. This field-based role requires a proven sales background in residential cabinetry and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of residential construction sales experience required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of cabinetry, kitchen design, and residential construction.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction plans.
• Experience working directly with builders, remodelers, designers, and consumers.
• Strong sales, relationship-building, and business-development skills.
• Ability to independently prospect for and develop new business.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities and projects simultaneously.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with the broader team.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and build long-term relationships with builders, remodelers, designers, and other industry professionals.
• Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the residential construction and remodeling markets.
• Meet with builders, designers, and homeowners to understand project requirements, budgets, and design objectives.
• Read and interpret architectural plans, blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
• Design kitchens and other cabinetry solutions based on customer needs and project specifications.
• Prepare accurate estimates, proposals, and bids.
• Present cabinetry options, finishes, layouts, and design recommendations to customers.
• Manage opportunities from initial contact through design, bidding, and sale.
• Follow up consistently on outstanding proposals and opportunities to help convert bids into awarded projects.
• Coordinate with internal design, manufacturing, installation, and customer-service teams to ensure a smooth transition from sale to production.
• Maintain strong customer relationships throughout the sales and project process.
