Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an on-site CHVAC_AM_Controls Installation Technician to install building automation systems and support customer projects. You will read drawings, prepare sites, and coordinate with trades while ensuring safety and quality on every installation.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years HVAC/Controls experience, knowledge of low voltage electronics, and proficiency with MS Office and handheld devices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–5 years of HVAC/Controls experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and handheld devices.
• Knowledge of low voltage electricity and direct digital controls.
• ABC electrical apprenticeship program is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Install building automation systems.
• Interpret drawings/plans to install temperature control systems.
• Prepare for on-site installation by coordinating with trades and site layout.
• Maintain inventory and document all activities.
• Complete and file all required paperwork on each job.
