Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an HVAC/Controls technician to install building automation systems at customer sites in Alabama. You will use hand tools, read control drawings, and coordinate with other trades to ensure accurate installation.

The role requires 2–5 years in HVAC/Controls, knowledge of low voltage electronics, and a valid driver’s license. Expect travel across Troy, AL, Dothan, AL and surrounding areas with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Typically 2–5 years HVAC/Controls experience suggested.
• Electrical and/or mechanical experience welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Install building automation systems using hand tools and control drawings.
• Prepare for on-site installation by reviewing layout and coordinating with other trades.
• Maintain inventory and document all activities, time and reports.
• Serve as direct customer contact and ensure customer satisfaction.
