Job summary

Legacy Placement Partners is seeking an HVAC Controls Service Technician II to service, troubleshoot, and maintain commercial HVAC controls and building automation systems across customer sites in the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

You will perform hands-on diagnostics, programming adjustments, system testing, and direct customer support, resolving routine issues independently while collaborating with senior technicians on more complex needs.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience servicing commercial HVAC controls or BAS.
• Troubleshoot low-voltage circuits and sensors.
• Familiar with commissioning and startup processes.
• Valid driver's license.
• Willingness to travel in the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot commercial HVAC controls and BAS.
• Service DDC systems, controllers, sensors, actuators.
• Adjust schedules and setpoints in control programs.
• Test and calibrate devices for proper operation.
• Read wiring diagrams and sequences of operation.
• Assist startup, commissioning, and performance testing.
• Document changes and communicate findings to customers.
• Coordinate with technicians and project managers.
• Follow safety requirements.
