Job summary

PAR Electrical Contractors, LLC is seeking a highly organized Assistant Project Manager to support transmission, distribution, and substation projects. You will work with project management, field operations, accounting, and clients to ensure timely, cost-effective project delivery.

The role reports to a Project Manager and offers field-based work with up to 75% travel, primarily from Denver or Kansas City offices. Salary ranges from $50,000 to $60,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Construction Management, or related field.
• 2–5 years of construction experience including project support or field engineering.
• Experience with utility construction or infrastructure projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned project scopes under the direction of the Project Manager.
• Coordinate subcontractors and material procurement for assigned scopes.
• Assist with project budgets, cost forecasts, and monthly billing.
• Maintain project documentation and keep the project management platform current.
• Develop and update the project schedule and track action items.
