Job summary

Aimbridge-Hospitality is seeking an Area Director Offsite Sales to lead field-based growth for StayAPT extended-stay properties. Responsibilities include proactive prospecting, in-market visits, and collaboration with leadership to maximize portfolio performance.

Successful candidates will have 4+ years of hotel sales and supervisory experience, with a valid driver’s license and strong communication and data-analysis skills. This role requires extensive travel and a results-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of progressive hotel sales experience, or a 4-year college degree with at least 2 years of related experience; supervisory experience required.
• Valid driver’s license in the applicable state is mandatory.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly convey information and ideas, as well as listen to and resolve concerns effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate options, solve problems, and maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
• Experience assimilating complex data from various sources and applying it to meet specific needs; proficiency with financial information and basic arithmetic functions.

Responsibilities

• Accelerate Growth & Engagement: generate new business through proactive outreach, including prospecting, telemarketing, cold calling, and in-person sales visits across several markets.
• Spend 3.5 to 4 days each week on sales activities like field visits, account follow-ups, networking, joint sales calls, and engaging with local markets, as well as conducting regular travel to client sites.
