Terros Health is seeking an ACT Substance Abuse Specialist to join an interdisciplinary ACT clinical team in Phoenix, AZ. The role supports individuals with SMI or general mental health diagnoses under Court Ordered Treatment and requires substance abuse services experience.
The position offers an added $3.00 per hour ACT differential in addition to base pay and involves 40 hours per week on-site with some fieldwork.
Formación
- GED/HS diploma with behavioral health experience or higher education in related field.
- Associates or higher in medical/behavioral health preferred.
- Bachelor’s in behavioral health or related field with experience.
- Master’s degree or higher in behavioral health strongly preferred.
Responsabilidades
- Assess member needs and develop individual service plans.
- Engage members into treatment using Motivational Interviewing.
- Provide time-unlimited community-based services to ACT clients.
- Recruit new clients for ACT services.
- Monitor client status during transitions and ensure continuity of care.
- Facilitate individual and group treatment sessions per plans.
- Collaborate with families, communities, and other providers.
- Advocate for clients and coordinate with community agencies.
