Job summary

Metrocare in Fort Worth, TX seeks an AAC Consultant (Augmentative and Alternative Communication Consultant) / Speech Language Pathologist to drive sales and placements of speech generating devices. You will market, train, demonstrate and evaluate with SLPs, patients, and families.

Requires MS, CCC-SLP; SLP-A considered. Travel up to 75% and a goal-oriented, consultative sales approach are essential. Base+commission, full-time position in a growth-focused team.

Qualifications

• MS, CCC-SLP preferred; SLP-A considered.
• AAC devices and software knowledge.
• Clinical experience with sales aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Manage territory to reach revenue and service goals.
• Maintain rapport with referral sources, speech clinics and DME partners.
• Coordinate processing of orders with DME partners and MDs; assist as needed.
• Schedule and arrange delivery of devices in a timely manner.
• Train DME partners on equipment use, delivery and setup.
• Follow up with patients to ensure product use and obtain references.
• Promote products to referral sources and maintain ongoing contact.
• Report referrals and partnerships in spreadsheets (Brightree/Sharepoint).
