Job summary

Algonquin Golf Club in Saint Louis, MO is seeking a Field Bar Attendant to provide exceptional member service and expertly manage bar operations. The role requires knowledge of wine, liquor, and beer, with the ability to answer questions and guide selections for guests.

You will work in a fast-paced club setting, perform opening/closing side work, and collaborate with management to resolve member and guest needs. Prior bartending experience and POS familiarity are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job Summary

This position is ideal for an outgoing individual who enjoys working with others and engaging well with members. Possessing exceptional friendliness and communication skills is a huge plus. At Algonquin Golf Club we love to hire friendly people who want to work hard in a fast‑paced team setting. Field Bar Attendants will be expected to know our a la carte menu and have a clear understanding of the menu items. They should be able to answer any questions from members or guests, and possess deep knowledge of wine, liquor, and beer. Management will assist in bringing staff up to speed on our offerings, but prior knowledge and experience is required. Experience with point of sale systems is a plus.
