Job summary

MariMed, Inc. is a multi-state cannabis operator focused on improving lives through high quality products and values. This field-based role requires travel within the territory to build and maintain key accounts, drive sales, and promote brand education among partners and patients.

Responsibilities include meeting sales targets, developing promotional plans, and coordinating events to showcase MariMed brands, while upholding professional standards and company ethics.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of demonstrated success in B2B field sales.
• Strong networking skills for lead generation/business development.
• Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an organized list of key accounts in the territory, ranking the accounts based on opportunity and patient counts.
• Solicit, secure and develop new accounts, drive sales with existing accounts and establish key customer relationships
• Meet or exceed sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• Monitor customer and competitor trends and provide periodic market analysis
• Maintain regular communication with our customers and perform a rotation of dispensary visits
• Schedule, coordinate and execute events to promote our brands and educate partners and patients
• Develop promotional plans, advertising programs, and educational initiatives to drive sales
• Direct accounts in proper and effective merchandising and consumer awareness of brands
• Maintain and update a database of contacts for wholesale customers
• Create excitement and coordinate the launch of new wholesale products
• Solicit wholesale orders and assist in customer-facing fulfillment
• Project a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community
• Embody the mission, culture, values, while supporting our goals and objectives
