Job summary

Fernway seeks a Field Marketing Specialist to execute in-store marketing initiatives, build retailer relationships, and train budtenders in the South Shore area of Massachusetts. This role supports the Field Marketing Manager and drives brand awareness and sales at the store level.

You will manage displays, promotions, and swag logistics, while coordinating events and pop-ups with sales partners. A strong organizer with cannabis-regulatory awareness thrives here.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in brand marketing, event planning, or a similar role.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Highly approachable and team-oriented personality.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for execution.
• Proficiency in Hubspot and/or other CRM platforms.
• Social media proficiency (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn).
• Experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
• Ability to travel to retail locations and events as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support In-Store Execution: Ensure 100% execution of in-store marketing strategies, including displays, merchandising, and promotional setups, to maintain brand visibility across retail partners.
• Manage In-Store Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with store staff to ensure collaboration and support.
• Budtender Training: Conduct regular training sessions on Fernway products, promotions, and selling points.
• Retail Store Incentives: Manage incentive programs to engage budtenders and store teams.
• Merchandising and Display: Oversee product displays to meet brand standards.
• Promotional Support: Assist with in-store promotions and product launches.
• Swag and Promotional Materials Management: Handle inventory and distribution of swag.
• Event Coordination: Plan and execute events, activations, and pop-ups.
• Collaboration with Sales and Retail Partners: Align field marketing with sales objectives.
• Compliance with Cannabis Regulations: Adhere to state and local cannabis regulations.
• Target Work Schedule: Tue-Sat; Tue/Wed flex days; Thu-Sat field days.
