Job summary

Clair Global is seeking a Systems Service Technician to service integrated lighting, audio, video, and control systems at U.S. locations. Responsibilities include testing, troubleshooting, repair, operation, and cleaning, with occasional installation support and site evaluations.

The ideal candidate will have electronics technology training and experience with DMX/sACN protocols, testing equipment, and basic networking knowledge. Willingness to travel and work at heights is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s/Associate/Certificate of Electronics Technology preferred.
ETC Technician Certification preferred.
Familiarity with soldering, use of standard tools, and general assembly techniques.

Responsibilities

Interact directly with end-users to gather information necessary to resolve system issues.
Test, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain installed lighting and audiovisual systems and equipment.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and maintain systems per company practices and industry standards.
Complete service tickets documenting findings, actions, and results.
Provide preventative maintenance for various system types and locations.
Modify existing control, DSP, and lighting control programs as needed.
Assist on installations including rough-in, cabling, rigging, testing, and addressing lighting/video.
