Job summary

Logicalis is seeking an AV Installer to install, service, test, and troubleshoot commercial audio-visual systems under direction of lead engineers. You will survey installation areas, determine layouts, run cable, install projectors, displays, speakers, and control systems, and ensure conformance with industry standards.

You will work on site, collaborate with the project team, mentor junior technicians, and keep documentation up to date.

Qualifications

• Equivalent combination accepted.
• InfoComm Quick Start to Audiovisual Industry completed.
• OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification completed.
• 3 years’ experience in communications infrastructure installation (fiber, copper, coax, hybrid).
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assists and performs all design install tasks to create AV designs.
• Installs, services, tests, troubleshoots, or programs AV systems (Bogen, Cisco, Extron).
• Determines layouts and installs racks, backboards, patch panels, and fiber enclosures.
• Loads and tests code for control and DSP systems; makes minor programming changes.
