Job summary

Logicalis is seeking an AV Installer to install, maintain, and troubleshoot commercial audio-visual systems on customer sites. You will assist in designing installation layouts, program control systems, and collaborate with engineers and project teams to meet customer requirements.

The role emphasizes on-site installation, safety practices, and mentorship of Level I and II technicians, with opportunities to train and lead project tasks while adhering to industry standards.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or technical trade school diploma.
• Experience in converging technologies (Video over IP) and audio/video systems.
• Completed InfoComm Quick Start and OSHA 10-Hour Construction courses.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist and perform design install tasks to create AV design.
• Install, service, test, troubleshoot, or program AV systems (Bogen, Cisco, Extron).
• Determine layouts for closets and racks; install hardware and cable routing.
• Load and test code for control and DSP systems; minor programming changes.
• Lead on-site activities; act as customer liaison when needed; provide training.
