Job summary

Waters is seeking an Automation Servicer Engineer to deliver in-field service for BD Advanced Diagnostics customers within the assigned territory and nationally as needed.

The ASE will work remotely with minimal supervision, travel overnight as required, and support installations, upgrades, and repairs on complex laboratory instruments. Excellent communication and a strong technical background are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science or related field.
• Understanding of electronics and electro-mechanical devices (Mechatronics).
• Experience with PLCs and pneumatics is preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time and work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service needs and perform installations, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs.
• Drive field service revenue through preventive maintenance and equipment moves.
• Communicate work performed and provide follow-up plans.
• Coordinate system upgrades with customers.
