Job summary

Waters Corporation seeks an Automation Servicer Engineer to support BD Advanced Diagnostics instruments across assigned regions and nationally. The role requires self-motivation, remote work ability, and travel readiness for up to 50% of the time, including overnight stays as needed.

Responsibilities include installations, maintenance, upgrades, repairs, and collaboration with customers and internal teams to ensure instruments meet specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electronic Technology, Computer Science, Biomedical or related field.
• Understanding of electronics, electro-mechanical devices (Mechatronics), PLCs, and pneumatics.
• Intermediate knowledge of information systems networking architecture design and setup.
• Intermediate understanding of computer software operating systems and ability to discuss upgrades with IT/lab leadership.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service needs and perform installations, maintenance, upgrades and repairs.
• Drive field service revenue through preventive maintenance and equipment moves.
• Lead customer communications and provide follow-up plans.
• Collaborate with customers to schedule system upgrades.
• Document all customer issues in required systems for resolution and investigation.
