Job summary

GEICO is seeking a Field Auto Damage Trainee to inspect and assess vehicle damage in the Kansas City, KS area. You will estimate repair costs, negotiate settlements, and collaborate with body shops, rental firms, and parts providers to ensure fair outcomes.

The program includes hands-on training at our Ashburn, VA facility and field placements across NY, TX, CA, with licensing and ongoing education supported. Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing experience required.
• Experience in high-volume call centers with KPIs preferred.
• Active Adjusters license preferred (training and exam fees provided).
• High School Diploma or GED required; College degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Customer interaction: consult with involved parties, review contracts, inspect vehicles, write estimates, manage rental cars.
• Problem resolution: address and resolve customer concerns to ensure a positive experience.
• Meaningful impact: drive customer satisfaction through proactive service and accurate settlements.
