Job summary

Allstate is seeking a Field Auto Appraiser to support our Rhode Island and Massachusetts regions. You’ll write estimates, guide customers through repair or total loss, and engage via on-site visits, virtual inspections, and written communication.

You’ll collaborate with body shops and service providers, lead accurate damage assessments, and maintain clear records in our claims system. A valid driver’s license and travel readiness are required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in auto collision estimating using CCC or Mitchell.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong written and verbal communication with customers.
• Attention to detail and precise estimates.
• Comfort with technology and claims platforms.
• Excellent time management and organization.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead in writing estimates and guiding customers through repair or total loss.
• Perform on-site evaluations or remote assessments as required.
• Collaborate with body shops and service providers to complete claims.
• Maintain accurate, timely records in the claims system.
• Communicate clearly with customers via phone, email, or video.
• Negotiate settlements following company policies and laws.
