Progressive is seeking an auto damage claims adjuster to serve as the point of contact with customers, directing and making decisions on repairs from start to finish. You will manage your own workload in the field, coordinate with body shops, and negotiate pricing while evaluating liability.

Occasional office reporting may be required. This field role offers a company car and extensive travel within your geographical area, with potential coverage beyond it.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum four years relevant work experience with one year appraisal/estimatematics or insurance experience.
• Associate's degree with minimum three years relevant experience and one year appraisal/estimatematics or insurance experience.
• Bachelor's degree with minimum one year appraisal/estimatematics or insurance experience.

Aufgaben

• Complete vehicle inspections, write estimates, determine total loss evaluations and timelines.
• Negotiate repair process with body shops.
• Document claim information and decisions per standards and local laws.
• Evaluate and handle claim payments and resolutions.
• Review validity of supplement requests.
