Job summary

National General is a field-based role covering the Jacksonville South and St Augustine market. You will inspect vehicles, write and audit estimates, and work directly with repair facilities to reach fair settlements while maintaining strong customer relationships.

The ideal candidate has hands-on CCC ONE experience, sharp negotiation skills, and an ability to self-manage a territory with effective time planning.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating auto damage in field settings.
• Proven negotiation skills with collision repair facilities.
• Hands-on experience with CCC ONE or similar estimating software.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to independently manage a territory and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Inspect damaged vehicles in the field, at repair facilities, salvage yards, and customer locations.
• Write and audit comprehensive repair estimates using CCC ONE.
• Manage total loss evaluations, supplements, and repair negotiations.
• Partner with repair facilities to resolve estimate discrepancies and reach fair settlements.
• Evaluate vehicle condition and determine the appropriate claim resolution.
• Document claim activity while ensuring compliance with company guidelines and industry standards.
• Plan and manage daily schedule across an assigned territory.
• On average, handle approximately 4 claims per day (20 per week) while balancing field inspections and virtual claim-related activities.
