Job summary

TEAM, Inc. is seeking experienced API Inspectors to perform mechanical integrity inspections across vessels, piping and tanks in field settings.

You will evaluate in-service and out-of-service equipment, interpret codes, and generate reports to TEAM standards, ensuring client specifications and regulatory compliance. Ideal candidates hold API 510/570/653, AWS CWI or AMPP, and have strong report-writing and safety credentials.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; technical degree or military experience a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background check.
• Must obtain TWIC, DISA, and/or other site access credentials.
• Active certification in API 510, 570, or 653.
• Strong understanding of damage mechanisms and inspection intervals.

Responsibilities

• Perform internal, external, and on-stream inspections per codes and client programs.
• Prepare and review isometric drawings, repair plans, inspection reports, and data sheets.
• Recommend inspection intervals and follow-up actions based on condition assessments.
• Interface with client representatives, engineers, and maintenance personnel to meet scope and timelines.
• Utilize digital tools to track asset health and inspection histories.
• Coordinate with NDT technicians as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
