Job summary

TEAM Industrial Services is seeking experienced API Inspectors to perform mechanical integrity inspections on pressure vessels, piping, and aboveground tanks at client sites. The role emphasizes field-based work, strict adherence to codes (API, ASME, NBIC), and generating accurate reports while maintaining high safety standards.

Ideal candidates hold active API 510/570/653 certifications and relevant credentials (AWS CWI, AMPP).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; technical degree or military experience a plus.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background check.
• Must obtain TWIC, DISA, and/or other site access credentials.
• Active certification in API 510, 570, or 653.

Responsibilities

• Perform internal, external, and on-stream inspections per codes (API/ASME/NBIC) and client programs.
• Prepare and review drawings, repair plans, inspection reports, and data sheets.
• Recommend inspection intervals and corrosion monitoring points based on condition assessments.
• Identify deficiencies and provide repair or fitness-for-service evaluations.
• Interface with client representatives, engineers, and maintenance personnel to ensure scope and deliverables.
• Use digital tools and data management systems to track asset health and inspection histories.
• Coordinate with NDT technicians as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Uphold safety protocols and TEAM's standards of professionalism and quality.
