Job summary

TEAM Industrial Services, Inc. is seeking experienced API Inspectors to perform mechanical integrity inspections across pressure vessels, piping, and aboveground storage tanks in field settings.

Active API certifications (510/570/653) and related credentials are preferred to ensure compliance with client specifications. Responsibilities include preparing inspection reports, interpreting codes, and coordinating with client representatives while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Active API certifications in API 510, 570, or 653.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable MVR.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background check.
• Must be able to obtain TWIC, DISA, and/or other site access credentials.
• Experience performing mechanical integrity inspections per codes (API, ASME, NBIC).
• Strong report writing and communication skills; interface with multiple levels of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Perform internal, external, and on-stream inspections per codes and client programs.
• Prepare and review isometric drawings, repair plans, inspection reports, and data sheets.
• Recommend inspection intervals and follow-up actions based on condition assessments.
• Identify deficiencies and provide repair recommendations or fitness-for-service evaluations.
