Job summary

Kokosing Materials, Inc. (KMI) is seeking a hands-on technician to support hot-mix asphalt production across multiple plants and terminals in Northeast Ohio, including Cuyahoga, Lake, Portage and Geauga counties.

The role covers plant upgrades, maintenance and repairs in indoor and outdoor environments during 1st shift. The ideal candidate will have asphalt plant operations knowledge, mechanical aptitude, and be willing to work nights and weekends, lift up to 75 lbs, and pass required

Qualifications

• Knowledge of asphalt plant operations and safety protocols.
• Ability to pass required certifications including crane signaling and lockout/tagout.
• Welding experience and mechanical aptitude are expected.
• Class B CDL with clean driving record preferred.
• Able to work nights/weekends and lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Support production of hot-mix asphalt at multiple plants/terminals.
• Perform upgrades, maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Operate company equipment and complete required paperwork.
• Participate in training and safety programs as prescribed by the company.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet objectives.
• Be available to fill in as Ground Man or Loader Man when required.
