Kokosing Materials, Inc. (KMI) has led asphalt production since 1980 with plants across central and Northern Ohio. This role supports hot-mix production at Northeast Ohio sites (Cuyahoga, Lake, Portage, Geauga) through plant upgrades, maintenance and repairs.

The position is 1st shift with indoor/outdoor work environments. Candidates must have asphalt plant operations knowledge, welding experience, CDL Class B and ability to pass safety screenings; lifting up to 75 lbs and heights up to 125' are

Qualifikationen

• Must have knowledge of Asphalt Plant Operations.
• Ability to work nights and weekends (on-call).
• Must have cutting and welding experience and be able to pass certification.
• Must have mechanical knowledge.
• Crane rigging and signaling experience (certification is a very strong plus).
• Able to work in confined spaces.
• Lockout tagout experience and/or certification.
• Possesses a class B CDL.
• Able to operate manlifts and work in elevated areas.
• Possess a clean driving record.
• Must be able to pass drug and alcohol screenings on demand.
• Must be able to work alone or with large groups of team members.
• Able to work in all environments: wind, rain, snow, heat, cold, loud areas.

Job Description:

Summary:

• The individual will be working at various asphalt plants and terminals in the Northeast Ohio region (Cuyahoga County, Lake County, Portage County, Geauga County) supporting production of hot-mix asphalt through plant upgrades, maintenance and repairs.
• Working environment is a combination of indoor and outdoor.
