Job summary

Kokosing Materials, Inc. is seeking a hands-on plant and terminal maintenance professional to support hot‑mix asphalt production across Northeast Ohio, focusing on plant upgrades, maintenance and repairs.

The role combines indoor and outdoor work at multiple sites, with first shift hours and travel between plants and terminals. You will operate company equipment, complete required paperwork and collaborate with a safety‑driven team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Asphalt Plant Operations.
• Ability to work nights and weekends (on-call).
• Cutting and welding experience with certification.
• Mechanical knowledge.
• Crane rigging and signaling experience (certification is a plus).
• Lockout tagout experience and/or certification.
• Class B CDL.
• Operate manlifts and work in elevated areas.
• Able to pass drug and alcohol screenings on demand.
• Able to work alone or with large groups of team members.
• Able to work in all environments (wind, rain, snow, heat, cold).
• Able to lift 75 lbs and climb ladders up to 125’.

Responsibilities

• Work at various asphalt plants and terminals supporting production through upgrades, maintenance and repairs.
• Perform tasks in a timely, safe and efficient manner.
• Operate company equipment and complete required paperwork.
• Attend prescribed training and follow supervisor directions.
• Represent the company positively and work with teams safely.
• Fill in as Ground Man or Loader Man when needed.
