Job summary

Kokosing Materials, Inc. (KMI) operates 19 asphalt plants across central and northern Ohio with terminals in Wheelersburg and Mansfield. The role supports production at Northeast Ohio plants, performing plant upgrades, maintenance and repairs, indoors and outdoors.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of Asphalt Plant Operations.
• Ability to work nights and weekends (on-call).
• Must have cutting and welding experience and be able to pass certification.
• Must have mechanical knowledge.
• Crane rigging and signaling experience (certification is a strong plus).
• Able to work in confined spaces.
• Lockout tagout experience and/or certification.
• Possesses a class B CDL.
• Able to operate manlifts and work in elevated areas.
• Possess a clean driving record.
• Must be able to pass drug and alcohol screenings on demand.
• Must be able to work alone or with large groups of team members.
• Able to work in all environments: wind, rain, snow, heat, cold, loud areas.

Summary

Job Description:

• The individual will be working at various asphalt plants and terminals in the Northeast Ohio region (Cuyahoga County, Lake County, Portage County, Geauga County) supporting production of hot-mix asphalt through plant upgrades, maintenance and repairs.
• Working environment is a combination of indoor and outdoor.
