Amrize Building Envelope in Philadelphia seeks an energetic Area Manager to drive growth in decking, waterproofing and flooring markets. You will expand fluid-applied coatings sales by building relationships with architects, contractors and owners.

This role offers independence to manage a territory, develop plans, meet annual sales targets, travel up to 75% and represent the company at trade shows and training events.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business or related field or a minimum of 5 years of decking, waterproofing & flooring material
• Strong track record in building business and increasing sales
• Excellent communication with strong customer service focus
• Ability to present information professionally to diverse customers
• Effective time management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Technical skills including MS Office
• Highly motivated with a proven sales record
• Willingness to travel 75% of the time

Responsibilities

• Represent Gaco decking, waterproofing & flooring products to architects, engineers, building owners, distributors and contractors.
• Manage ongoing sales process, develop relationships, respond to needs and close sales.
• Generate and follow up on new customer leads.
• Document leads and follow up; develop territory business and marketing plans.
• Meet or exceed annual sales and gross profit targets.
• Use presentations and sales tools to establish marketing needs.
• Travel frequently and represent the company professionally.
• Conduct on-site training events and participate in trade shows.
• Manage territory sales budget and expand product knowledge.
