Gaco, a trusted name in building envelope solutions, seeks an Area Manager to drive growth in decking, waterproofing and flooring sales. You will build relationships with architects, owners, distributors, and contractors, manage leads, and execute territory plans to meet sales targets.

The role requires a proven sales track record, excellent communication, and readiness to travel up to 75% to promote products and train teams across regions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in roofing/waterproofing or commercial coatings sales.
• Proven ability to grow business and sales.
• Excellent communication and customer-service focus.
• Strong presentation and relationship-building skills.
• Effective time management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Represent Gaco decking, waterproofing, and flooring to architects, owners, distributors, and contractors.
• Manage the sales process, build relationships, respond to, and close sales.
• Generate and follow up on new customer leads.
• Document all leads and follow-up contact.
• Develop and execute territory business and marketing plans.
• Meet or exceed annual sales and gross profit targets.
• Travel frequently and represent the company at trade shows and events.
• Manage the territory sales budget.
• Be the product and competitor expert.
