Qualifications

• Experience with GPS is an asset.
• Knowledge of Phase I, II, and III archaeological excavations/assessments required.
• Ability to walk and conduct fieldwork for long hours through rugged terrain.

Responsibilities

• Perform field duties including archaeological shovel test excavation and pedestrian survey.
• Assist with setting up a site grid, datum, and excavation units.
• Identify historic and prehistoric artifacts following standard collection procedures.
