Job summary

Ducks Unlimited, Inc. in Jackson, Missouri, seeks a full-time Archeologist to support NRCS Wetland Emphasis Team, with fieldwork and archival tasks in the Great Lakes Atlantic Region.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of field and report writing experience.

• Valid state driver's license and willingness to travel for field work.

Responsibilities

• Assist in researching archaeological databases and identify potential sites.
• Help determine locations of major cultural resources.
• Investigate proposed projects on state, tribal, and private lands.
• Develop technical cultural resource sections of contracts and documents.
• Prepare reports of findings and recommendations for NRCS and others.
• Travel extensively for multi-day field investigations.
