Ducks Unlimited, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Archeologist in the Great Lakes Atlantic Region, Jackson, MO, to assist NRCS in archaeological resources management and site identification.

The role involves researching databases, preparing reports, and traveling for multi-day field investigations. Requires master's in Archaeology/Anthropology, CRM project management experience, and 3+ years field/report writing.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Archaeology or Anthropology; relevant experience as principal investigator.
• CRM project management experience.
• 3+ years of field and report writing experience.
• Strong written and oral communication; coordination with clients, agencies, staff and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Assist in researching archaeological databases and identifying potential sites.
• Assist in developing technical cultural resource sections of contracts and environmental documents.
• Prepare reports of findings and recommendations for NRCS and other agencies.
• Travel extensively for multi-day field investigations and coordinate with field office staff.
