Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in anthropology, archaeology, or related field.
• Academic-sponsored field school completion.
• Minimum 1 year CRM experience.
• Experience in archaeological excavation with feature ID and profiling.
• On-call, night or weekend work availability.
• Understanding of southwestern archaeology; Phoenix Basin preferred.
• Experience with GPS and GIS, ESRI Field Maps, and digital recording apps.
• Ability to carry up to 25 pounds and work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with archaeological monitoring and possibly survey, testing, or data recovery.
• Apply standardized field methods and complete standardized field forms accurately.
• Use a tablet with GIS for collection of archaeological data.
• Assist with lab work and report preparation.
• Communicate effectively and work closely with colleagues, clients, contractors, and vendors.
