Job summary

Sartorius' Fluid Management Technology team in the Raleigh/Durham area is seeking a Field Application Specialist to support design, validation, and implementation of fluid management solutions. The role combines product expertise, application knowledge, and technical support to accelerate therapy development and production.

You will lead demonstrations, trials, and customer evaluations, collaborate with Commercial, and provide pre- and post-sales support while traveling >50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in life sciences or engineering.
• 3+ years in technical sales, applications support, or pre-sales in a scientific/technical environment.
• Willingness to travel >50% and strong documentation discipline.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage prospective customers with the Commercial team to generate opportunities.
• Plan, execute, and manage technical demonstrations and trials to validate fit.
• Position solutions, address objections, and support deal closure with technical input.
• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support for adoption and repeat business.
• Capture Voice-of-Customer insights to influence product portfolio and sales enablement.
