Job summary

Diversified Technical Systems Inc. is seeking a Technical Support Engineer/Field Applications Engineer to provide hands-on technical support for DTS hardware and software in automotive crash and component testing environments.

The role involves answering customer issues from intake through resolution, across on-site, remote, and ticket-based workflows, with travel to customer facilities as needed. Strong troubleshooting and field communication are essential.

Qualifications

Technical degree in electronics, engineering, or related field with 2–5 years of hands-on experience.
Strong troubleshooting ability across sensors, DAS, and electronic systems.
Experience in customer-facing technical roles and working under time-sensitive conditions.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support for hardware and software systems, diagnosing and resolving customer issues.
Own and manage support tickets from intake to resolution using Salesforce and other channels.
Deliver remote and on-site troubleshooting, including training and demonstrations.
Perform hands-on debugging with multimeters and oscilloscopes to identify faults.
Collaborate with engineering to communicate field issues and improvement opportunities.
Develop knowledge base articles and troubleshooting guides from field experience.
Travel to customer sites for support and training as needed.
