Job summary
Diversified Technical Systems Inc. is seeking a Technical Support Engineer/Field Applications Engineer to provide hands-on technical support for DTS hardware and software in automotive crash and component testing.
You will be a frontline resource, owning issues from intake to resolution while delivering remote, phone, and on-site assistance from Novi, Michigan. The role emphasizes practical troubleshooting with DAS, sensors, wiring, and signal integrity, along with collaboration with engineering
Qualifications
- 2–5 years in a technical role involving data acquisition systems, sensors, or embedded systems.
- Hands-on troubleshooting experience in real-world hardware and system issues.
- Ability to diagnose issues with incomplete information and manage multiple tasks.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for DTS hardware and software via phone, email, remote sessions, and on-site visits.
- Own and manage support tickets from intake to resolution in Salesforce.
- Perform on-site diagnostics and calibration in crash labs and test environments.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and troubleshooting guides.
- Collaborate with engineering to relay field issues and product gaps.
