GlobalFoundries is seeking a New College Graduate for a Field Application Engineer role to engage with customers, assess needs, and drive design wins and tapeouts. You will collaborate with account managers, product marketing, and technical experts to tailor proposals and solutions for semiconductor products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited program.
• Must have overall 3.0 GPA and good academic standing.
• English language fluency (written & verbal).
• Travel up to 20%, primarily domestic with some international travel.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand their technical needs for the development of semiconductor integrated-circuit products.
• Assess the competitive landscape and advocate winning GF value propositions.
• Partner with GF account managers, product marketing, and technical experts to create application-specific presentations showing how GF technology solutions support customer product development.
• Work with the account management team to combine technical and commercial terms into design-winning proposals.
• Identify and resolve issues or concerns to convert design wins into product tapeouts.
• Advocate internally for improved features and capabilities where competitive gaps exist.
