Job summary

GlobalFoundries seeks an experienced Senior Member of Technical Staff Field Applications Engineer to provide ongoing customer support. You will identify, qualify, and secure new business while delivering high-level service on existing accounts.

You will own demonstrations, collaborate with product marketing and R&D teams, and travel to customer sites globally to ensure successful design wins and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related discipline required.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Semiconductor IC design, system design, or related testing.
• Master’s or PhD preferred; travel to GF Fabs in USA, Europe and Asia expected.

Responsibilities

• Develop customized technical presentations and proposals for customer evaluation.
• Own technology demonstrations and drive design-win strategy.
• Serve as the single technical interface to the customer and coordinate all technical sales interactions.
• Represent strengths/weaknesses of GF technology internally and externally.
• Formulate customer requirements and promote compelling GF design solutions.
