Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking a Field Application Engineering Intern to provide technical support to customers. You will collaborate on new opportunities, evaluate GF technologies, and help drive design wins leading to tapeouts and first-time-right silicon outcomes.

Essential responsibilities include understanding GF offerings, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and creating clear technical docs that address customer challenges.

Qualifications

• Sophomore student at time of application with GPA >= 3.0
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Electrical Engineering or related field
• Fluent in English (written and verbal) and able to work 40 hours per week during internship

Responsibilities

• Gain understanding of GF technology offerings by engaging with internal experts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align GF technologies with customer needs
• Support customers through technical evaluations and tapeout processes with GF SMEs
• Develop customer-facing technical documentation addressing application and market challenges
