Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking a New College Graduate Field Application Engineer in Austin to engage with customers early, assess technical needs, and drive opportunities toward design wins and tapeouts.

You will work with account managers, product marketing, and internal experts to overcome adoption barriers and convert opportunities into revenue. Travel up to 20% domestically is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• GPA 3.0 or higher and good academic standing.
• English language fluency in written and verbal form.
• Domestic travel up to 20%, some international travel possible.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers early to assess technical needs for GF solutions.
• Assess the competitive landscape and advocate GF value propositions.
• Create application-specific presentations to show GF tech supporting product development.
• Work with account managers and experts to craft design-winning proposals.
• Identify and resolve issues to convert design wins into tapeouts.
