Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking a 2027 New College Graduate to join as a Field Application Engineer. You will engage with customers early to assess technical needs and drive opportunities toward design wins and tapeouts, collaborating with account managers, product marketing, and internal experts to tailor GF solutions for customer development paths.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering with a 3.0 GPA, possess strong communication and project-management skills, and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 3.0 GPA and good academic standing.
English language fluency (written & verbal).
Willingness to travel up to 20% (domestic and some international).

Responsibilities

Engage with customers to understand their technical needs for GF solutions.
Assess the landscape and advocate GF value propositions.
Create application-specific presentations with GF teams to enable design wins.
Collaborate with account managers and marketing to develop design-winning proposals.
Identify and resolve issues to convert design wins into tapeouts.
